Today (16th) at 8 p.m., TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life' will feature actress Kim Ae-kyeong, known as the 'queen of the original nasal voice,' along with her husband as they reveal their daily life of 'together yet apart.'
A meeting of Korea's 'two major peaks of nasal voices' will be depicted. Kim Ae-kyeong immediately greeted, saying, "I am actress Kim Ae-kyeong!" in her signature nasal voice, catching attention. MC Hyun-young welcomed her enthusiastically, saying, "When I was a rookie, my nickname was 'Little Kim Ae-kyeong.' It's so nice to see you, teacher!" MC Oh Ji-ho suggested, "Since the two nasal voices of Korea have met, how about you show us your catchphrase 'Excuse me' first, and then (Hyun-young) can follow along?" In response, Kim Ae-kyeong said, "You shouldn't be too sharp; you should relax your eyes and act like a screw is loose," showing a different kind of original demonstration that brought laughter to the studio.
The daily life of Kim Ae-kyeong and her husband, who entered the studio holding hands affectionately, will be revealed. Kim Ae-kyeong aroused curiosity as she alone headed towards Ganghwa Island with her car full of belongings. Upon arriving home, Kim Ae-kyeong exclaimed, "Why didn't anyone come to greet me after ten days?" To which Oh Ji-ho questioned, "Did you really go home after ten days?" Kim Ae-kyeong replied, "The house in Ganghwa is 'my husband's house,'" adding that "My husband lives in Ganghwa, and I live separately in Paju," surprising everyone.
When Hyun-young asked, "Why don't you live together and instead live apart?" Kim Ae-kyeong explained, "Since we met at a late age in our late 50s, we have different habits and lifestyles. We tried living together, but it was uncomfortable, so I said to my husband that even though we got married, let's live as if we did not." Kim Ae-kyeong's husband also noted, "Living separately from my wife still feels like a honeymoon," boasting of their 'twilight romance' in their 70s. The couple enjoys dates on the beach in Seokmo-do, Ganghwa Island. Kim Ae-kyeong, holding hands with her husband, said, "I feel refreshed as soon as I see the sea," gently walking along the beach and enjoying a romantic picnic date, evoking envy.
