Starting from its first broadcast on Nov. 17, 2012, the MBN flagship entertainment show 'Talk Show Dongchimi,' which has lasted for 13 years, is undergoing a new Director General in celebration of MBN's 30th anniversary. Maintaining the title of the longest-running family talk show in Korea and having been loved for a long time, Dongchimi plans to return with more relatable stories and even more refreshing content.
2. Honest banter of versatile panels
Actors Kim Young-ok, Kim Hyun-sook, comedian Lee Hong-ryeol, and pop columnist Kim Tae-hoon will join as fixed panels. With the participation of 'Kim Young-ok,' a representative national actress and the oldest active actress in South Korea, stories marked by the wisdom of the years are anticipated. Additionally, with the addition of the highly entertaining actress Kim Hyun-sook and the lend of the comedy world, Lee Hong-ryeol, even more fun and sharp discussions are expected. Attention is also focused on the activities of columnist Kim Tae-hoon, who has showcased outstanding skills in various entertainment programs.
3. Narrowing the distance with viewers through relatable corners
Dongchimi, which is undergoing restructuring after 13 years, will present unique corners. In particular, the 'Family Reconciliation Project' will gather participants who have severed ties due to severe family conflicts under one roof, laying the groundwork for reconciliation. It is expected that the show will showcase the reconciliation of a family that has been torn apart through Dongchimi. The first guest will be Choi Hong-rim, the long-standing host of Dongchimi, who will appear with his brother, with whom he has been estranged for 30 years. Attention is focused on whether the brothers, who have experienced deep conflicts, can reconcile through Dongchimi. There will also be corners to gather viewers' opinions directly on-site and showcase the participants' skills.
After its new Director General, 'Talk Show Dongchimi' will air on the 19th (Saturday) at 11 p.m.
