Singer Koo Jun-yeob has been revealed to visit his wife Seo Hee-won's grave every day since her passing.
On the 16th, Taiwan's ET Today reported an interview with Taiwanese singer and actress Bai Bingbing.
That day, Bai Bingbing talked about the sadness of losing her daughter ahead of Taiwan's upcoming Mother's Day and shared recent news about Seo Hee-won's mother, who lost her daughter first.
Bai Bingbing stated, "I spoke with Seo Hee-won's mother the day before yesterday. She asked how I coped, and I said it takes time. I cried for 20 years." She also mentioned, "If one cannot suppress their emotions, I told her to reach out to me anytime."
Additionally, she mentioned that she asked Seo Hee-won's mother if Koo Jun-yeob was okay, saying, "Seo Hee-won's mother told me that Koo Jun-yeob goes to Jinbaoshan every day and that his heart is very painful. Koo Jun-yeob and his brother Seo Hee-je are still struggling with their sorrow, but I am more worried about Seo Hee-won's mother."
"Younger people tend to find comfort slowly while working, but older individuals might dwell on their thoughts if they have nothing to do," she shared. Bai Bingbing added that she herself was able to let go slowly over 20 years thanks to her friends and expressed her desire to help Seo Hee-won's mother.
Meanwhile, the late Seo Hee-won passed away on Feb. 2 at a hospital in Tokyo, Japan. After departing for Japan with her family for a trip on the 29th of last month, she was transferred to the emergency room on the third day of the trip but ultimately passed away due to pneumonia caused by the flu.
Koo Jun-yeob held Seo Hee-won's funeral at Jinbaoshan (Golden Treasure Mountain) on the 15th of last month, and despite the rain, he shed tears while personally carrying Seo Hee-won's urn.
Since then, Koo Jun-yeob has reportedly halted all activities after Seo Hee-won's urn was placed, rarely revealing himself to the outside world, and it is known that he has lost about 12 kg due to his severe condition.
Koo Jun-yeob has embarked on the creation of a commemorative statue for Seo Hee-won with a friend, and it is reported that he plans to return to Seoul to meet his family after waiting for the statue to be completed.
