The director for season 2 of the hit Disney+ series 'Moving' has been decided as Kim Sung-hoon.

According to OSEN on the 16th, the Disney+ original series 'Moving' season 2 will enter the pre-production phase next month, and Kim Sung-hoon has been appointed as the new director.

Previously, in August 2023, season 1, directed by Park In-je, was released, but he will not be part of season 2. The newly introduced season 2 of 'Moving' is expected to be helmed by Kim Sung-hoon, who directed Netflix series 'Kingdom' (2019), 'Kingdom' season 2 (2020), and films 'The Last Run' (2014), 'Tunnel' (2016), and 'Emergency Declaration' (2023).

In the past, directors Kim Sung-hoon and Park In-je shared a unique history during 'Kingdom' season 2. Although they did not co-direct, Kim Sung-hoon directed the first episode of season 2, while Park In-je took over directing from the second episode to the last. This time, they will direct parts of the 'Moving' series separately.

Recently, the production team for 'Moving' season 2 has been gradually informing the main cast about the progress and the director change.

Currently, writer Kang Full is focused on writing the script for 'Moving' season 2 and has entered pre-production in May this year, aiming to start filming in March next year.

Meanwhile, season 1 of 'Moving' was a major production with a budget of 50 billion won, gaining attention from the planning stage. The original webtoon 'Moving' was written by Kang Full, and it achieved global success with a cast that included top stars Ryu Seung-ryong, Jo In-sung, Han Hyo-joo, as well as newcomers Go Youn-jung, Lee Jung-ha, and Kim Do-hoon.
