On the 15th, Lee Seung-gi's agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, reported, "Recently, it has been confirmed that an internet investment site has unlawfully used the portrait rights of our artist Lee Seung-gi and is making false advertisements. The site is inducing investments with phrases like referrals from acquaintances and recruiting investors, giving the impression that Lee Seung-gi is a model for the company," it said.
In this regard, Lee Seung-gi's side stated, "Accordingly, we are currently taking all civil and criminal legal measures, including sending a notice of content and filing a lawsuit against the operators of the site."
It also noted, "Lee Seung-gi has no relation whatsoever with the company, and we hope to emphasize caution against the unauthorized use of portrait rights and the inducement of investments using them." It emphasized, "We will not overlook illegal actions that unlawfully use the artist's portrait rights. We will continue to take legal action without leniency to protect Lee Seung-gi's portrait rights and prevent harm to the public."
