The couple, both 43 years old, who appeared on 'The Birth of Bodily God' that day, share that unlike their past when they resembled celebrities due to their handsome appearance, they are now troubled by their gradually increasing weight and sudden onset of aging since marriage. In particular, the wife contestant reveals that she is worried about skin aging due to parenting stress and frequent drinking, as well as her waist circumference, which has increased to three digits. Additionally, the husband contestant adds to the distress by stating that he gets out of breath even after using the stairs briefly and has discovered gastric polyps, a pre-cancerous condition for stomach cancer.
The health status of the contestant couple is examined by Maker Yuseongsoo, who mentions 'telomere shortening' as a cause of aging. 'Telomeres' refer to the aging clock contained within our genes, and as we live each year, the cells divide and the length of the telomeres gradually shortens until they wear out and disappear, causing cell division to stop and resulting in death. For this reason, it is added that predictions of biological age and life expectancy can be made based on the length of telomeres. In fact, upon examining the biological ages of the two contestants, the husband was found to be three years older than his actual age, and the wife was found to be as much as 13 years older, causing the atmosphere on set to freeze.
