Actor Eom Gi-joon opened up about his marriage process with his wife.
On the 14th, actors Kim Soo-ro and Eom Gi-joon appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanhyung Shin Dong-yeob' to share their stories.
On this day, Shin Dong-yeob asked Eom Gi-joon, 'How is newlywed life these days?' and Eom Gi-joon honestly replied, 'I'm not sure.'
Eom Gi-joon stated, 'Everyone keeps asking, but after living together for over a year, getting married doesn't feel that different.' He added, 'Moreover, at the time of the wedding, I had almost three overlapping performances, so there was no time.'
Eom Gi-joon held a private wedding ceremony with a non-celebrity bride in December last year at a location in Seoul. At that time, Shin Dong-yeob officiated the event.
Shin Dong-yeob noted, 'I was very grateful to be the one who officiated the wedding of Gi-joon.' Eom Gi-joon stood up to express his gratitude and bowed at a 90-degree angle. Shin Dong-yeob remarked, 'I received such good vibes and energy that day.'

While talking, Shin Dong-yeob stated, 'Your wife is in her 30s, right?' and Jeong Ho-cheol responded, 'I have absolutely no information about your wife. The information that she is in her 30s is coming out for the first time.' When Shin Dong-yeob asked, 'Should I edit this out?' Eom Gi-joon replied, 'It's fine. She's in her 30s. Shin Dong-yeob shared, 'When officiating a wedding, if there is a significant age difference between the bride and groom, I usually focus on the expressions of the bride's parents more than the couple. But the expressions of the father-in-law and mother-in-law were very good.'
Eom Gi-joon recalled the moment before receiving permission for marriage when he first met the mother-in-law and father-in-law, saying, 'I'm a bit older, so I didn't know what to say. They treated me well. I bowed politely, and they viewed me positively.'
He said, 'After the event, I just took a taxi home. My wife told me, 'You should sleep there (at Eom Gi-joon's house).'" Kim Soo-ro commented on Eom Gi-joon's wife, saying, 'She is very pure. Very fun and pure, and she matches well. He's lucky.'
Eom Gi-joon shared about his first meeting with his wife, saying, 'We were at a gathering of such comfortable people when my wife came. I kept throwing hints, and when the event was ending, I asked, 'I'm sorry, can I get your phone number?' and got her number, causing everyone to burst into laughter.'
