Pop star Katy Perry enjoyed a space trip while her 4-year-old daughter watched.
According to reports from foreign media outlets including CNN on the 14th (local time), Blue Origin, the space company founded by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, launched the spacecraft 'New Shepard.' This spacecraft, launched from West Texas, USA, completed a 10-minute space flight and returned to Earth.
Six women, including Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and filmmaker Keryann Flynn, were on board.
Katy Perry got off the spacecraft holding a daisy flower, which shares the same name as her daughter. She noted, 'Daisies are common flowers, but they grow in any environment. Daisies remind us of the beautiful Earth and the magical existence around us, even from a simple daisy.'
Regarding the space flight, she said, 'It was the best of the best. It felt like immersing into an unknown world. I highly recommend this experience,' and when asked if she would make a song about the space trip, she confidently replied, 'Absolutely. 100%.'
Katy Perry's daughter drew attention as she watched her mother's space flight with a curious expression. However, the amount that Katy Perry paid remains shrouded in secrecy.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry became the center of attention in 2016 when she was spotted on a public date with Orlando Bloom. However, they have gone through breakups and reconciliations. Eventually, Orlando Bloom married Miranda Kerr, but they divorced in 2013 after having a son, Flynn, just three years later.
Currently, his wife is Katy Perry. They set up their home after their engagement ceremony in February 2019. In August 2020, they welcomed their first daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, and are enjoying happy days.
