The group TWICE pre-released the Japanese version of the best album track 'Talk that Talk -Japanese ver.-'.
TWICE will release their fifth Japanese best album '#TWICE5' on May 14. Ahead of this, the group is generating excitement with diverse promotions, including a concept photo and jacket teaser video released on the group's official Japanese SNS channel, and a pop-up store for the local official fan club 'ONCE JAPAN' celebrating its 8th anniversary.
At midnight on the 14th, the audio for 'Talk that Talk -Japanese ver.-', included in the album, will be pre-released, elevating the atmosphere. The title track 'Talk that Talk' from the mini album 'BETWEEN 1&2', released in August 2022, expresses a longing to hear affectionate words from the other person through a lovely message, with a poignant yet intense beat, and a refreshing melody in the chorus that serves as a highlight.
The member selfie video also posted on the group's official Japanese YouTube channel captures all nine members holding the camera and singing, further endearing them to fans. By presenting this song in Japanese, which embodies TWICE's lovely charm and bright, healthy musical energy, it fills local fans with satisfaction.
TWICE's '#TWICE5', the fifth installment of the Japanese best album series '#TWICE', is the first local best album released in about 3 years and 2 months since '#TWICE4', which came out in March 2022. The new release includes the Japanese versions of 'Talk that Talk', 'SET ME FREE', and 'ONE SPARK', garnering high attention. Since officially debuting in Japan in June 2017, TWICE has achieved remarkable success, dominating local major charts, winning numerous awards, surpassing total sales of 20 million albums in Japan and South Korea combined, and becoming the first foreign female artist to perform at Kanagawa Nissan Stadium.
This year, TWICE will continue their journey as a 'global top girl group' by performing on various stages domestically and internationally. They will serve as the special guest at the upcoming concerts of the British band Coldplay's 'Coldplay [Music Of The Spheres World Tour]' held at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, South Korea, from the 16th to the 25th, and will headline the large music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' taking place on August 2 in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, local time.
