Actor Park Sang-myung stated that his character in "Catch Your Luck" has a synchronization rate of over 100%.
At the production presentation of the new daily drama "Catch Your Luck" which took place online on the morning of the 14th, director Park Man-young was accompanied by actors Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, Park Sang-myung, Lee Ah-hyun, Oh Young-sil, and Ahn Yeon-hong to discuss.
"Catch Your Luck" (written by Son Ji-hye and directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo) is a drama depicting the dramatic growth of three friends—those with money, those without money, and those wanting money—and their families. It will premiere today at 8:30 p.m.
Park Sang-myung plays the role of Choi Gyu-tae, the head of a first-class real estate company, who is heavily burdened by issues with a notorious landlord, Han Moo-cheol.
On this day, Park Sang-myung noted that his synchronization with the character is over 100%, saying, "There are foods I cannot eat, and even that is the same. It's to the point where I wonder if the writer did research on me. It's truly a good match, and I love comedy, but there's sadness in it. I find myself crying a lot."
However, Park Sang-myung expressed some dissatisfaction, stating, "If there's something that makes me upset while doing this drama, it's that I'm the youngest. There's a significant age gap. But it's frustrating to be cast as a friend."
In response, Sun Woo-jae-deok remarked, "Look at the comparison. How amazing!" and Park Sang-myung confessed, "I intentionally grew out my beard. The moment I cut it, I'll have to be called uncle," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, KBS 1TV's "Catch Your Luck," featuring Park Sang-myung, will air for the first time at 8:30 p.m. on the 14th.
