Actress Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee have overcome infertility after five years of marriage and welcomed their daughter.
On the 14th, Ji So-yeon said, "After meeting lovely Ha-eul, there was a life I had to cautiously hold and then let go. After going through a difficult time, another gift has come to us."
She added, "It took courage to make up my mind again, but behind that courage, I encountered the warmest miracle. This time, it is a child I met through prayer."
At the same time, she said, "I hope this story is shared as hope for someone, and I share this news with a joyful heart," adding, "A small heart is beating inside me. Ha-eul ~~~ you are getting a sibling."
The couple, Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee, who married in 2017, achieved pregnancy through in vitro fertilization five years after their marriage. He revealed in 2022 on Channel A's "Gumjok Counseling Center" that "I was told I had infertility at the hospital and had to have a child through in vitro fertilization."
He expressed disbelief, saying, "I really hate needles, but there are times I have to get shots, times to hold hope, and then periods when I despair. I worried about how to keep my heart, but I also thought the process would be hard for my older brother (husband Song Jae-hee) too," and he teared up.
Then in August of the same year, Ji So-yeon shared the news of her successful pregnancy, receiving many congratulations, and in January 2023, she welcomed her first daughter.
The couple, Song Jae-hee and Ji So-yeon, overcame infertility and successfully got pregnant after five years, bringing hope and support to those around them. They conveyed to OSEN, "We always support them. We are praying hard for others."
Two years later, the couple announced the news of their second pregnancy. This time, they also conceived through in vitro fertilization. Ji So-yeon revealed, "Because it's a child we met through in vitro fertilization, I couldn't come out to my husband about the pregnancy (hormone level blood test)."
