The victim experiencing mental trauma from domestic violence appeared on "Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller" and expressed their pain.

On the broadcast of KBS Joy's "Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller" on the 14th, a participant who wants to escape from the trauma of continuous remarriage and ongoing abuse appeared with their aunt.

That day, the participant who appeared with their aunt shared, "My mother passed away when I was in my early 20s. I am still unable to overcome the child abuse and trauma I suffered from my mother, and I have been living while undergoing psychiatric treatment. How can I let it go and live like a human being?" Seo Jang-hoon asked about the father, and the participant revealed, "It’s complicated. There have been four men who came and went. I don't know my biological father at all," shocking everyone.

The sibling situation was also complicated. According to the participant, there were children from the first stepfather, but the first half-sibling was sent away without knowing the existence of their biological mother, and a half-sibling born to the third stepfather lived with their aunt before returning to their biological father due to circumstances.

The participant thought their second stepfather, who shared the same last name, was their biological father, but stated, "The second stepfather protected me from my mother's abuse. When my stepfather was not around, I was neglected, and there were times I was not fed and left alone."

There were even more shocking stories. The participant revealed that when they were in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school, their mother moved to Bucheon after divorcing her second husband and began living with her boyfriend. Regarding the boyfriend, they recounted, "He would take me to the rooftop in the middle of the cold winter night, only in my underwear, saying I was not listening to him when he talked big."

They continued, "He smoked while I shivered in the cold. My mother didn’t respond to it after seeing it. She said, 'You brought this upon yourself. You were punished for not being able to do things right.'"

The participant further revealed that their biological mother started to discriminate against and abuse them after getting married to her third husband and having a child. The participant even mentioned being abruptly sent to an orphanage, which added to the shock.

The participant said, "One morning, she packed my things and took me to a temporary shelter. The shelter teachers saw me and said, 'You must be Hyun-joo.' At that moment, I realized, 'I've finally been abandoned.' I spent a whole two years until I became a first-year middle school student."

The participant left a note for their mother, saying they would do everything perfectly and asking her to come pick them up, and they explained that they returned home after promising to diligently do household chores. However, the abuse from their mother continued. The participant recounted, "I was locked in a room, beaten, and being pulled by my hair and slapped was a given. I had to care for my siblings as well. I pushed school aside and did all the housework," ultimately leading to the onset of parenting depression.

After the participant revealed that their mother died suddenly at the age of 39, Seo Jang-hoon asked about the situation afterward. The participant shared, "My aunt took me in. As I entered my aunt's house, symptoms of mental illness began to appear one by one," adding, "I see my mother pointing her finger at me and saying, 'I died, but you are still alive.'" They explained that they were diagnosed with schizophrenia and depression at the hospital.

As the years passed, the participant confessed that their symptoms had worsened, and they are now experiencing dissociative amnesia, evoking sympathy.
