Comedian Kim Hyo-jin appeared on 'King of Mask Singer,' captivating viewers with a voice like warm sunshine.

On the broadcast of the MBC entertainment program 'King of Mask Singer' on the 13th, Kim Hyo-jin made her entrance as 'Sweet Nap,' showcasing unexpected vocal talent that elicited admiration from the judges and audiences.

'Sweet Nap' delighted viewers with a clear and pure voice while singing 'Sleepless Night' and Yang Jeong-seung's 'Stars in the Night Sky' on the first round stage, and although she unfortunately got eliminated in the first round, she passionately sang Kwon Jin-won's 'As Time Goes By,' unmasking herself and revealing her identity.

The identity of the clear-voiced 'Sweet Nap' is none other than Kim Hyo-jin! When Kim Sung-joo said, 'You look beautiful wearing the mask and costume; people are talking about you as an actress,' she responded with an unexpected twist, noting, 'Right? But I thought for sure someone would mention I was an idol.'

Kim Hyo-jin, who naturally conceived and healthily gave birth to a daughter at 45, said, 'That child has now turned five and is growing beautifully and healthily, making it a great gift and blessing for me.'

Regarding the time she was greatly loved for her 'Little Beauty' character, she recalled, 'I can't forget that spring-like peak of my career. So many people saw my 'Little Beauty' character positively, and at that time, it truly was called the 'Little Beauty Syndrome.' My moniker, 'Cinderella of Comedy,' often adorned articles.' She further added, 'If we were to say now, I think it would feel easier for you if I compared it to being 'the Jennie of Comedy,' 'the Karina of Comedy,' or 'the Rosé of Comedy.'

In particular, Kim Hyo-jin expressed her long-standing admiration for Yoon Sang, who was part of the judging panel, stating that there was something she really wanted to say when appearing on 'King of Mask Singer.' 'As I was coming to record for 'King of Mask Singer,' my heart was more excited and thrilled than ever because of you, brother Yoon Sang,' she said. 'You are the one who warmed my heart during my middle school years. I wrote you so many fan letters, folded origami, and sent it to you. And you know fan fiction? I wrote a story starring myself and my favorite entertainer, and that story also starred Yoon Sang and me as protagonists.'

Finally, Kim Hyo-jin said, 'Now that I am a mother of two daughters, I have a new goal to become a wonderful role model for them. So I want to work harder and bring you even more joy and laughter. Thank you.'

Having appeared as a 'masked singer' for the second time on 'King of Mask Singer,' Kim Hyo-jin once took the stage under the name 'Tulip Lady' in 2017, waiting for her daughters' reactions every time she watched 'King of Mask Singer.'

Meanwhile, Kim Hyo-jin is active as a DJ on TBN Korea Traffic Broadcasting's 'Kim Hyo-jin, Yang Sang-guk Let's Meet at 12,' and since November last year, she has been appearing in the play 'I Love You, Mom' at the Art House in Daehangno, Seoul, meeting audiences in the role of a mother.

The play 'I Love You, Mom,' originally scheduled to run until March 3, has been extended to June 8 due to audience response.
