The delightful, refreshing, and thrilling new family drama "Catch Your Luck" finally opens its doors.
The first episode of the new daily drama "Catch Your Luck" (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo), which will air on April 14 at 8:30 p.m. on KBS 1TV, tells the turbulent life story of the stingy landlord Han Moo-chul (played by Son Chang-min), who trembles even over a single won.
In his role, Son Chang-min portrays Han Moo-chul, who went from being a penniless laborer to experiencing a turnaround in life after meeting the only daughter of a wealthy family, Im Mi-ja (played by Lee Ah-hyun). After achieving business success and becoming a landlord, Moo-chul exhibits tyrannical behavior towards his tenants, making their lives miserable.
Just a day before the premiere, stills released today (the 13th) capture Moo-chul in an arrogant moment as a "rich landlord." He hurls insults at his tenants and trembles over a single won, demonstrating the traits of a golden omnipotent believer.
When his wife Mi-ja gets into a taxi dressed to the nines, Moo-chul swiftly pulls her out. Startled, Mi-ja looks at Moo-chul with a bewildered expression, eliciting laughter. To save on taxi fare, Moo-chul forces Mi-ja to use public transportation and eventually searches through a collection box for used clothes to find a gift for her.
Moo-chul demands an increase in the deposit from his steadfast supporter Daeshik from high school, as well as requesting a driving service. Concerned about living expenses for the following month, Daeshik looks at the unreasonable landlord Moo-chul with contempt. The story of what caused a rift among those who once shouted, "We are one," raises curiosity about whether the "lowly trio" can regain their friendship.
