Members of the group ZEROBASEONE, Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook, have been selected as MCs for a Japanese variety program.
Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook will be appearing as MCs for the original variety show 'ZEROBASEONE's All-Purpose Office,' which will first air at midnight on the 14th on Japan's NTT Docomo's OTT platform, Lemino.
'ZEROBASEONE's All-Purpose Office' is a program where Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook will grant fans' wishes with a guest called an intern each episode. Accepting requests from fans, Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook plan to take on various tasks and showcase their all-purpose talents.
In particular, as ZEROBASEONE has swept various album and music charts upon debut in Japan, enjoying a syndrome-level popularity, the news of the two members being selected as MCs holds even more significant meaning.
At a press conference held locally, Seok Matthew noted, "I was very nervous when I got the offer to be MC, but I was also happy. I thought I must work hard not to disappoint everyone's expectations, and I think it will be more comfortable with Gunwook." Park Gunwook said, "I was excited when I first heard the news of being selected as MC. Now that we’ve started filming, I think it will be more enjoyable and fun content."
Regarding advice from members who have established themselves as MCs on various programs such as music shows, Park Gunwook expressed, "They cheered me on, saying not to be too nervous and that if I go with my own pace, it will lead to an enjoyable filming experience," showing their strong camaraderie.
