Nam Yoon-su posted on social media on the 13th, "Hello, I am actor Nam Yoon-su. I confirmed late today that an offensive post was reposted without my knowledge."
He added, "I am upset and sincerely sorry for causing discomfort to many people. I will be more careful in the future."
Earlier that day, Nam Yoon-su's social media featured a reposted image that depicted a woman's private parts in the shape of a balloon, which was deleted a few minutes later. At that time, the video was posted without a mosaic.
In relation to this, Nam Yoon-su noted through a fan communication platform where he interacts with fans, "I was driving, so what is this repost? Was I hacked?" and shared a photo taken from the driver's seat.
He continued, "Something strange was posted, but fans informed me. Phew," as he emphasized again that he did not personally share the post, saying, "It must have been the algorithm. It seems I was hacked. I didn't even know it was pressed."
The agency also told OSEN, "We received reports from fans and checked social media. Actor Nam Yoon-su was driving, and his phone was in his pocket," explaining that the post was made while the phone was in his pocket.
They added, "He quickly confirmed and deleted the post as soon as he was aware. It seems he didn't even know what had been posted."
