Actress Nana, from the group After School, has once again taken a jab at a junior male idol.
Recently, Nana left a comment saying 'He should be scolded' on a video of The Boyz member Sunwoo, which was posted on an online community regarding his controversy over his character.
The video Nana commented on shows Sunwoo dropping his AirPods while walking toward the elevator, and as he got into the elevator, he was seen shouting 'My AirPods.' A security guard immediately ran over and picked up the AirPods, handing them over with both hands, to which Sunwoo received them with one hand.
After the video was released, Sunwoo noted, 'Everyone talked about it, so I looked up the video. But I really just look like I'm receiving it without greeting anyone and being rude.' He added, 'At that time, a fan shouted something. I was in a daze, not knowing what had fallen, until I realized it was the AirPods. So I was looking for them with my eyes and then received the AirPods that were handed to me. I was in a situation where I didn't bow my head and said 'Thank you.' I can't clarify everything like this forever, but I also have to take responsibility for how it looked. I will behave well so that such unfair stories don't come out again.'
Nana's comment sparked discussions, as it is rare for an actress to comment directly on posts in online communities. In particular, fans of Sunwoo criticized Nana's comment as reckless, and some fans left negative comments on Nana's social media account, which was disheartening.
Amid this, Nana responded to a comment that said, 'It’s really disappointing and seems thoughtless to judge a person based on just a few seconds of a fragmented video and to leave such a comment as a public figure, especially since you are a senior in the entertainment industry. Please don't leave comments carelessly, knowing how painful such incidents can be for oneself,' with a reply saying, 'You can tell ten things by looking at one.'
Regarding this, some have reacted positively to Nana's comments and actions, while others have pointed out that her second comment following the first was also reckless, resulting in a heated exchange of opinions.
Meanwhile, Nana is set to appear in the movie 'All-Knowing Reader' scheduled to be released in July.
