The members Lee Sol and Sui of the 'Gen Z美' group KiiiKiii will work together as MCs.
According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, Lee Sol and Sui will appear as special MCs on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' airing today at 3:20 p.m.
Earlier, Lee Sol served as a special MC on 'Music Core' on the 29th of last month. Despite it being their debut hosting, they energized the show by demonstrating clear diction and engaging reactions through interviews with the artists at the MC table. Lee Sol shared, "I was nervous as it was my first time as an MC, but the seniors helped me finish it well. I hope to work together again next time." They are expected to showcase their 'experienced' side in another special MC role.
Sui, who will co-host, is taking on her debut MC role through today's broadcast. With her unique bright and lively personality, Sui has been dubbed 'the vitamin of KiiiKiii,' showcasing her cheerful wit through various music shows, radio, and YouTube content. Her precise and clear explanations, as well as her natural talk flow, particularly in song introductions and behind-the-scenes descriptions, have been gaining attention, raising expectations for her first MC appearance.
Previously, the two made an impression on the public with the 'ladybug scene' in KiiiKiii's music video for 'I DO ME,' released on Feb. 16. The scene where Sui places a ladybug on Lee Sol's nose highlighted their stunning visuals and refreshing atmosphere, creating buzz and giving rise to the combination name 'SuiSol.' The quirky and cute chemistry between the two has sparked many people's interest, making their joint appearance as special MCs on 'Music Core' even more anticipated.
KiiiKiii, of which Lee Sol and Sui are members, recently topped the music show rankings with their debut album 'UNCUT GEM' featuring the title track 'I Do Me.' KiiiKiii is scheduled to perform their follow-up track 'BTG' during today's broadcast.
