On 'I Live Alone,' Red Velvet's Joy surprised everyone by revealing various massage devices reminiscent of a skincare shop.
On the Nov. 11 broadcast of the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone,' Joy's home care routine was unveiled.
That day, Red Velvet's Joy showcased her life after six months of living alone, particularly her very first home that exudes her emotions. Joy noted that she had moved out after living with her parents.
She unveiled her genuine self-care routine emphasizing home care. Starting her morning with stretching on the bed, Joy then moved to the sofa to enjoy her first meal with a 'blood sugar diet plan' considering her blood sugar levels. Joy remarked, 'I experiment on my body,' as she looked for a diet that suited her. She shared the 'blood sugar diet plan,' making her morning start healthily.
Joy's serious home care routine then began. Her home was filled with actual home care tools. Starting with skincare, she fully utilized various items like a scalp massager and a calf massager to aid blood circulation, continuing her unique full-course home care. At this point, there were devices one would expect to find at a home care shop. They were set up as skincare kits in her home, which astonished everyone who said, 'It's totally professional.' Joy demonstrated her expertise in skincare, claiming, 'I have a deep style.'
Next, Joy completed her self-makeup. She even performed a leg massage using principles of high-frequency and cupping to aid blood circulation. While doing so, Joy stated, 'I guess I have stress' and explained that it was because of her body type and upper body swelling, focusing on loosening her body. She added, 'It's like putting electricity into my body' while massaging, prompting Park Na-rae to exclaim, 'Are you a current charger?'
Following that, Joy took out exercise equipment, which was filled with various massage devices. She spent 24 hours on massage and exercise. Joy, who usually engaged in this for 3 to 4 hours continuously, said, 'That was short,' adding, 'There are times I do it all day,' showing her passionate approach to self-care. Joy laughed as she said, 'I’m not bragging, but people say my face is getting younger, and I’m proud to be standing against gravity.'
