Actor Kim Yong-gun openly mentioned his late-born child.
On the 11th episode of 'Jun Hyun-moo's Plan 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Joon-bin) met with the 'national actor' Kim Yong-gun in Jeonju, enjoying a delightful food trip featuring 'MZ soul food' and 'country table.'
That day, Kwak Tube mentioned, "Isn't your daughter-in-law famous? I heard she's as friendly as your daughter," referring to Kim Yong-gun's daughter-in-law, actress Hwang Bo-ra.
Then, Kwak Tube asked, "Do you meet often?" Kim Yong-gun revealed their closeness, saying, "We see each other often, because there's a grandchild."
In particular, Kim Yong-gun said, "It's a bit ironic; I have a little one, right? I have a son who's like a grandson," which left Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube solemn.
Seeing this, Kim Yong-gun joked, "Why? Are you suddenly feeling heavy? I thought you might be curious, so I'll mention this until here," which made Jun Hyun-moo respond, "Well, since the topic came up," eliciting laughter.
Jun Hyun-moo then said, "If there's something the baby likes, I would like to give a gift," to which Kim Yong-gun replied, "I'll let you know my bank account number later," joking to Kwak Tube, "(You too) are included in this," adding more laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Yong-gun has become a late-born father in his 70s after his 39-year-younger partner, whom he has been with for 13 years, gave birth to a son in 2021 and registered his late-born son the following year.
