"Buried Hearts" actor Hur Joon-ho has gone missing. Did Park Hyung-sik kidnap him?

According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings survey company, the April 12 broadcast of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Buried Hearts" (written by Lee Myung-hee and directed by Jin Chang-kyu, produced by Studio S, A2Z Entertainment, and Plumier Workstation) recorded ratings of 13.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 13.4% nationwide, claiming the top spot in both categories for all channels and weekly dramas during that time slot. The channel's key performance indicator, the 2049 ratings, also ranked first among all Friday broadcasts at 3.5%. The momentary peak rating soared to 14.9%. As "Buried Hearts" nears its conclusion, it is on an unstoppable box office run.

In this episode, Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik) and Yeom Jang-seon (played by Hur Joon-ho) had a fierce clash between revenge and desire. Both delivered strong blows, with Seo Dong-joo ambushing Yeom Jang-seon. Subsequently, news broke that Yeom Jang-seon had gone missing, shocking audiences at home. Will the confrontation between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon end here? Where does Seo Dong-joo's revenge ultimately lead?

Earlier, Seo Dong-joo live-streamed Yeom Jang-seon's misdeeds to the entire nation. Yeom Jang-seon was flustered but soon regained composure. Instead, when Seo Dong-joo asked him why he killed Heo Il-do (played by Lee Hae-Young), he shockingly responded, "You climbed up, Dong-joo. You caused his death. Your father." Yeom Jang-seon's wickedness is chillingly brazen. This only fueled Seo Dong-joo's simmering desire for revenge.

From this point on, the fierce combat between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon began. Seo Dong-joo declared to Cha Kang-cheon (played by Woo Hyun), chairman of Daesan Group, that he would succeed the deceased Heo Il-do as a representative of Daesan Energy. To Cha Kang-cheon, who still doubted him, Seo Dong-joo stated, "I want to stop Yeom Jang-seon, who is eyeing Daesan," asserting that he was the only one capable of doing so. He then set about destabilizing Cha Deok-hee (played by Kim Jung-nan) to become the representative of Daesan Energy.

Yeom Jang-seon was not one to sit back and accept defeat. He also moved meticulously to place Daesan in his grip and bring down Seo Dong-joo. The method Yeom Jang-seon chose was Ji Young-soo (played by Do Ji-won), the mother of Cha Kang-cheon's illegitimate child. By manipulating Ji Young-soo, who began to openly display her desires, he aimed to instill feelings of insecurity about Seo Dong-joo in both Cha Kang-cheon and his illegitimate child, Ji Seon-woo (played by Cha Woo-min).

In response, Seo Dong-joo confronted in a press conference. Following Seo Dong-joo's revelation about the "Love for One's Country Fund," Yeom Jang-seon, who was summoned by the prosecution, disclosed Cha Kang-cheon's dementia to reporters, prompting a plummet in Daesan Group's stock prices. Ultimately, Cha Kang-cheon joined hands with Seo Dong-joo, and before losing all memories to dementia, he voluntarily appeared before the prosecution to reveal the truth behind Heo Il-do's death. As a result, Yeom Jang-seon was urgently arrested on charges of instructing Heo Il-do's murder.

Elder (played by Choi Kwang-il) used his influence to have Yeom Jang-seon's arrest warrant dismissed. That night, after drinking late into the night with Congressman Nam Sang-cheol (played by Ryu Seung-soo), a drunken Yeom Jang-seon got into the car to return to Wayoungjae. After sleeping for a long while, when Yeom Jang-seon opened his eyes, he found Seo Dong-joo by his side. Seo Dong-joo swiftly subdued the surprised Yeom Jang-seon. For a moment, a sense of exhaustion crossed Seo Dong-joo's face.

As tension rose, was Seo Dong-joo truly going to kidnap Yeom Jang-seon? News was reported stating, "It has been a month since Yeom Jang-seon disappeared. The prosecution has decided to suspend charges against Yeom Jang-seon.” Has Yeom Jang-seon vanished? Is the confrontation between the two coming to an end? Was it Seo Dong-joo's doing? What is the ultimate goal of Seo Dong-joo's revenge? These were some of the several ominous questions raised at the end of episode 15 of "Buried Hearts."

Episode 15 of "Buried Hearts" meticulously captured the struggle between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon, who found themselves in a situation where they could collapse if not crushed. Viewers expressed outrage at Yeom Jang-seon's villainy and supported Seo Dong-joo's desperate quest for revenge while watching episode 15 of "Buried Hearts." Then, at the ending, they encountered an unimaginable development, leaving them in shock. The overwhelming performances by Park Hyung-sik and Hur Joon-ho magnified the viewers' shock twofold, threefold.
