Rapper Swings is making a full-fledged debut as an actor.
Swings posted on his social media on the 11th, along with a photo, saying, "Saturday, this week at 12 p.m., the movie without Jin Yong-jin will be available for paid viewing."
The released photo captures Swings in a black suit performing with a co-actor, drawing attention.
Previously, Swings created a buzz by announcing his acting debut while filming a web drama. "The movie without" is a web drama series produced by Jin Yong-jin and currently available on YouTube. Swings is expected to appear in an episode titled "Father Rights."
Previously, director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed in an interview that he considered casting Swings for the character Thanos (played by Choi Seung-hyun) in "Squid Game 2," but opted for Choi Seung-hyun due to concerns over acting ability.
In response, Swings appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and said, "When that interview came out, I was in my 2nd or 3rd week of acting class," and expressed admiration, saying, "I thought I could never pull it off after seeing Top's (Choi Seung-hyun) acting."
He continued, "I am challenging myself to act with a new career. I have wanted to act since I was young. I am currently attending an acting academy known for producing Kang Dong-won, Won Bin, and Kim Min-hee. Memorizing lines is extremely difficult. I struggle to memorize rap lyrics, but lines are much harder." He mentioned that he is set to debut as an actor this year with two works.
