Kim Tae-sul, the coach of the professional basketball team Goyang Sono Skygunners, who is about to marry actress Park Ha-na, has been dismissed.
Goyang Sono Skygunners officially announced on the 10th, "We appreciate his taking charge of the team during a difficult time, but we made the decision to dismiss Coach Kim Tae-sul for the future of the players and the organization."
Born in 1984, Kim Tae-sul led Goyang Sono as the youngest head coach in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). However, he recorded an 8th place finish, failing to qualify for the playoffs. The organization noted, "We plan to select a suitable successor for the vacant position created by Coach Kim's dismissal as soon as possible."
Kim Tae-sul joined the Seoul SK Knights in 2007 and played for Anyang KGC Ginseng Corporation, Jeonju KCC Egis, Seoul Samsung Thunders, and Wonju DB Promy. He is set to tie the knot with Park Ha-na on June 21 at a location in Seoul. They became a couple due to their shared interests, such as golf, and reportedly decided to marry based on their trust and love for each other.
Park Ha-na has learned of her fiancé's dismissal news ahead of their wedding. She has successfully wrapped up her role in the KBS 1TV daily drama "My Merry Marriage," but has been watching the unfortunate developments regarding her loved one.
Meanwhile, born in 1985, Park Ha-na debuted in 2003 as part of the mixed group Funy and transitioned to acting in 2012 with "A Year with 12 Men." In 2013, she gained recognition as the lead in the MBC drama "Apgujeong Midnight Sun" and subsequently appeared in dramas such as "Heaven's Promise," "Shining Eun-soo," "The Doll's House," "Loving When Sad," and "The Great Show."
