Rhymer burst into laughter at a drunken patron's sudden mention of 'ex-wife.'
On the 9th, a video titled "GukHIPbap Gukbap Contest! 3,000 won Gukbap VS 30,000 won Gukbap" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Rhymer.'
The released video captured Rhymer's visit to a 3,000 won Gukbap restaurant. However, raised voices between an unusual customer and the staff were heard, and Rhymer noted, "The customer next to me is drinking heavily. It's quite noisy. I'll just try to focus on the Gukbap."
However, the voices gradually grew louder, and eventually, swearing began to be heard. Rhymer laughed and said, "From the morning. It's a real mess. It's not easy to hear such language in the morning."
Amid the chaos, the drunken patron approached Rhymer and said, "I didn't know who you were earlier," to which Rhymer replied, "Can you tell who I am now?" The patron then suddenly asked a direct question: "Why did you break up with your wife?" causing astonishment.
As the production team got involved, Rhymer humorously said, "Excuse me, sir. I haven't eaten yet. Can I eat first and then we can talk?" The drunken patron then responded, "Okay. I'll cheer you on," before leaving, drawing attention.
Rhymer expressed amusement, saying, "This is what it is. With such a variety of entertainment for 3,000 won, I should think positively about it. But I certainly know that the person recognized me. They definitely recognized me."
Meanwhile, Rhymer married translator and broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo in 2017, but announced their divorce in November 2013, just six years into their marriage.
