In relation to this, on the 11th, Ham Eun-jung shared on her personal channel, "Honestly, I thought I wouldn't be able to film for YouTube after my mother's passing," and conveyed her gratitude and guilt towards her fellow actors who were worried about her by saying, "A lot of people talked about that. In particular, regarding the time, Ham Eun-jung said, "I heard the news that my mother passed away while I was filming a variety show in Vietnam," adding, "I wanted to go back to Korea quickly, but I told the production team, 'If you let me know what needs to be done, I will finish it,' and then I took a flight," expressing the regret of not being able to rush back immediately.
Ham Eun-jung recalled a time when she had no choice but to feel responsible, stating, "Most people who have experienced the same thing feel this way; work is work and a mother's matter is a mother's matter," and noted, "(Now) there's rather a sense of stability. I try to live." She added, "You just need to be sad for a while and then let it go. Sadness will continue to come, but I have to live... I'm learning to accept the sudden bursts of sadness," sharing her current state of overcoming significant pain and trials in life.
Meanwhile, when Ham Eun-jung faced her first birthday after her mother's passing, she shared her memories of it on social media.
Ham Eun-jung stated, "It's the first birthday since suddenly sending my mom to heaven, and it feels empty, but thanks to all the memories and concerns from everyone, I'm hanging in there." She continued, "I came to understand my mother's intentions to keep me focused on only seeing the good and not worry about other things this time. Even though it's hard, I will try to bravely live on for the sake of my mother, too."
