NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Sokeun, Seita, Huey, Yuki) will release their mini album "O-RLY?" on April 28. Ahead of this, JYP has been sequentially opening an introductory video, online cover, tracklist, and more, giving a glimpse of the album's atmosphere. Following the teaser for the music video of track 2, "Simmer," unveiled on the 9th, the full version of the music video was joyfully revealed on the official SNS channel on the afternoon of the 10th, adding to the rising heat of their comeback. This music video features the seven members, who have a strangely "king-bad" charm that can lead to unpredictable moments, captivating K-pop fans with their rap, performance, and visuals. The members roam various locations, such as classrooms, school hallways, inside a restaurant, on the street, in a sauna, and even on a large truck, as if they own the place. Despite the thick smoke and flashing lights, they maintain steady expressions while executing remarkable choreography. The creative direction, blending NEXZ's rebellious sensibility, is highlighted by scenes like planting a small strawberry in a broken pot or Huey carrying boiling water that spills and joining the performance with food splattered around. "Simmer" is a culinary term meaning to heat slowly just below the boiling point, and the new track utilizes this concept to metaphorically express tension that rises gradually under tight dynamics. It is a hip-hop track characterized by unique sound sources and energetic rapping. Lines like, "In a fleeting moment of unnoticed movement, everything boils up, even if it's deeply hidden, it rises hotly like Burning, we're Red flag warning, Sit down For my turn, you'll see in time," express NEXZ's bubbling energy, ambition, and passion. The pre-released track "Simmer" has garnered positive reviews, raising anticipation for the new album "O-RLY?," which includes the title track of the same name, as well as "Simmer," "Want More?
