The 'Jazz Trio' Yoon Seok-cheol Trio will take the stage at Asia's largest jazz festival.
Yoon Seok-cheol Trio (Yoon Seok-cheol, Jeong Sang-hee, Kim Young-jin) will participate in the 'Java Jazz Festival' held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 30 (local time).
The 'Java Jazz Festival' has established itself as a leading jazz festival in Asia, held annually in Jakarta since its inception in 2005. It offers a rich musical experience featuring a variety of genres, including jazz, soul, blues, and funk, with both world-renowned jazz artists and emerging musicians showcasing high-quality performances.
So far, world-renowned jazz legends such as Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding, Charlie Wilson, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, and Bobby McFerrin have graced the 'Java Jazz Festival.'
As a representative jazz artist in Korea, Yoon Seok-cheol Trio is expected to present a stage that illustrates the potential for Korean jazz music to expand internationally by joining this lineup. The Yoon Seok-cheol Trio will invite jazz enthusiasts into their unique musical world, which combines the roots of classic jazz with modern elements to deliver a fresh sound.
Yoon Seok-cheol Trio made its debut last year at the renowned jazz mecca Blue Note Tokyo in Japan, promoting the charm of 'K-jazz.' After successfully completing a club tour in February, Yoon Seok-cheol Trio has now added their name to this year's 'Java Jazz Festival' lineup, enriching both domestic and international jazz melodies.
