Big Bang's Daesung and NCT's Mark are set to appear on 'M Countdown.'
The cable channel Mnet's 'M Countdown,' airing on the 10th at 6 p.m., is expected to create another legendary stage with a stunning lineup. The first public performance of Big Bang's Daesung's solo stage will be showcased, along with NCT Mark's title track stage from his first solo album and the unit debut stage of Billie Moon Sua and Siyun.
First, Big Bang's Daesung will premiere the stage for the title track 'Universe' from his first solo mini-album 'D's WAVE' as well as the track 'The Us of That Time' on 'M Countdown.' This stage, showcasing a harmony of soulful vocals and rock-based band sounds, captures Daesung's matured musical world and adds significance as it marks the return of a Big Bang member as a solo artist following G-Dragon. Especially, as Daesung personally participated in writing and composing the album, which adds musical authenticity and depth, fans' attention is focused on Daesung's solo stage.
NCT member Mark will present the stage for the title track '1999' from his first solo album 'The Firstfruit' for the first time on a music program at 'M Countdown.' The new songs 'Toronto's Window' and 'Too Much,' which will also be performed, are expected to showcase Mark's delicate emotional line and broadened musical spectrum. This stage is drawing global fans' attention as it will unfold Mark's unique worldview, combining both performance and emotion.
Billie's Moon Sua and Siyun will present their first stage as a unit. The digital single 'SNAP (feat. sokodomo)' combines drill and electronic pop synths in the hyper hip-hop genre, showcasing a new musical world through the two members' intense rapping and expressive performances.
This week's special MC for 'M Countdown' will be Bang Ji-min of Izna. Bang Ji-min, who made a memorable impression as a special MC during Mnet's 30th anniversary special 'M Countdown' broadcast, is expected to brighten the stage with refreshing and energetic vibes while adding to the broadcast's entertainment with stable hosting skills.
