"Catch Your Luck" Lee Ah-hyun and Oh Young-sil engage in a sharp psychological battle at their alumni reunion.
The first episode of the new daily drama "Catch Your Luck" on KBS1, scheduled to air on April 14 at 8:30 p.m. (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo), will prominently unfold the intertwined relationship between the trio's Son Chang-min (Han Mu-cheol), Sun Woo-jae-deok (Kim Dae-sik), Lee Ah-hyun (Lee Mi-ja), and Oh Young-sil (Lee Hye-sook).
In the drama, Lee Ah-hyun and Oh Young-sil play the roles of Lee Mi-ja and Lee Hye-sook, respectively, the wives of the two leads, who are from a low-income background. Mi-ja, the spoiled daughter of a wealthy family, falls in love with Mu-cheol, a penniless laborer, and marries him, ultimately becoming a building owner due to her husband's business success. Hye-sook, who once lived in a goshiwon belonging to Mi-ja's family, crosses paths again with the building owner as a tenant.
The stills released on the 10th show Mi-ja and Hye-sook meeting at their alumni reunion. Elegantly dressed from head to toe, Mi-ja flaunts her wealthy status at the reunion, garnering everyone's envy. However, Hye-sook reveals the 'stingy' nature of Mi-ja's husband Mu-cheol, tarnishing her pride. In response, Mi-ja references the time Hye-sook lived in her home, launching a counterattack, and the atmosphere escalates dramatically.
After finishing her meal, Mi-ja glares at the annoyingly ahead Hye-sook, and although she initially tries to show off by paying for the meal, she hesitates as Mu-cheol's face comes to mind and suddenly comes up with a cunning plan to put Hye-sook in a difficult position.
Infuriated by Mi-ja's provocation, Hye-sook resolves to pay for the meal. However, she finds herself in a predicament due to an unexpected comment from a staff member, and to make matters worse, her husband Sun Woo-jae-deok (Kim Dae-sik) is unreachable, which causes her anger to boil over.
It raises curiosity about what hidden stories lie behind the unresolved conflict between the two, and who will ultimately emerge as the victor in this fated rivalry that has continued from the past to the present.
Meanwhile, the new daily drama "Catch Your Luck" on KBS1, which promises a fresh take on family-themed stories, will first air on April 14 at 8:30 p.m.
