JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU has topped the domestic music charts with their comeback song 'LOVE LINE (Fate Line)'.
NiziU made their comeback by releasing their Korean single album No. 2 'LOVE LINE' and the title track 'LOVE LINE (Fate Line)' on 31st. On the 9th, during the second week of activities, they won the first-place trophy with their new song 'LOVE LINE (Fate Line)' on MBC M's 'Show! Champion', starting from their music broadcasts on cable channel Mnet 'M Countdown' on the 3rd.
Immediately after being announced as the winner, the members said, "We sincerely thank the WithU fans who waited for us. Thanks to the support from our fans, we were able to receive this honorable award. We will continue to repay you with good music." Earlier, NiziU had topped the music charts with their debut title track 'HEARTRIS' just nine days after their official debut in Korea in October 2023. They promised to become an even more growing NiziU as they shed tears of joy at that time, and they have once again risen to the top after about 1 year and 5 months, with member Miihi serving as a special MC, adding significance to the occasion.
NiziU performed two songs, including the title track 'LOVE LINE (Fate Line)' and the included track 'What If'. The lovely lyrics based on the story of being connected by a red thread with one's destined partner and the notable point choreography representing the fate line in the palm made 'LOVE LINE (Fate Line)' stand out, and they also debuted the stage of 'What If' on 'Show! Champion'. 'What If' is a J-ROCK style band song with an impressive strong guitar riff and drum sound. The cheerful atmosphere of the song like an anime theme song combined with the members' warm yet refreshing voices, quickly became a new must-listen track among listeners upon release. In response, the members in front of the stand microphones captured attention by expressing the excitement of the song with lively movements and high notes. For their first comeback in Korea, NiziU has been showcasing their charms by featuring in various broadcasts, radio, and YouTube content, expanding their presence in the hearts of K-pop fans. On the 7th, they appeared on the popular YouTube channel Dingo Music's 'Dingo Live' and presented a live performance of the included track 'What If', garnering enthusiastic responses such as "It's an addictive song that makes you hum along," and "It's just as good as the title track, so I hope it spreads widely." On the 8th, the youngest member Nina captivated viewers with her outstanding vocal skills, including the high notes of IU's 'Good Day' on KBS Kpop's 'Limousine Service'. NiziU plans to continue their active activities with their new work 'LOVE LINE', filled with the warm energy of spring.
