Shin Won-ho, the creator of 'Resident Playbook,' expressed his feelings on the aftermath of the medical community issue.

On the 10th, the production briefing for tvN's 'Resident Playbook' was held at Ramada Seoul Sindorim, located in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Go Youn-jung, Shin Si A, Kang Yu-seok, Han Yeo-ji, Jung Jun-won, creator Shin Won-ho, and director Lee Min-soo.

The new tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (created by Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung/ directed by Lee Min-soo/ written by Kim Song-hee/ planned by CJ ENM Studios/ produced by Egg Is Coming) is a spin-off drama of 'Hospital Playlist' that depicts the process of residents dreaming of a wonderful medical life, growing through their initial struggles.

However, due to issues surrounding the medical community strikes, it will take a long time until the public release. He also conveyed his honest feelings about this. Shin Won-ho noted, "If the environment wasn't like this, I wouldn't be here now. The friends who directed and prepared it would have promoted it beautifully by themselves. Since I have to play the role of a protector, I tend to put myself out there repeatedly."

Shin Won-ho said, "I was anxious. To be honest, we submitted the script and began filming, and then this situation arose in the middle of production. I don't know when this will end, and still don't know. The only concern we had was that the beautiful stories of the young people we prepared should be enjoyed by viewers as they are, but there might be a risk of being misinterpreted in a different context."

He continued, "So we have been discussing to push back the original schedule that was set for last year. I don't know. I always say this, but I think it is our role to make it and present it. Whether it's to be chewed on or bitten, all the viewers' perspectives are up to them. I believe we can only wait for the outcome."

He added, "If I were the director, I would stop here, but because I am a father, please watch it a lot," and said, "They worked so hard. The director, the writers, and the actors. They are just starting out, and it's been made very fun and beautifully. But it would be heart-wrenching if it can't be seen for other reasons. If it's mine, I'll do it this way. I won't. I would appreciate it if you watched it a lot and gave it your love."
