Moon Ga-young revealed the reason why she wore a bold sheer look that went beyond being a topic of conversation.
On the broadcast of tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' aired on the 9th, actress Moon Ga-young appeared and talked with Yoo Jae-suk and Cho Sae-ho.
On that day, Moon Ga-young stated that she has been in the industry for 20 years, saying, "I was born in Germany and came to Korea at the age of 10. I started acting as a child actor from then on. Surprisingly, I have never taken a break and have been working constantly."
However, she noted that the endless life of being an unknown child actor was tough. She said, "I think the reason people don't recognize my work as a child actor is that I didn't have any clear hit works. I believe there is no difference between 'waiting' and 'enduring.' I think if you consistently endure and wait in that position, the right time always comes."
Moon Ga-young also opened up about her recent fashion week outfit that attracted attention. Cho Sae-ho asked, "Many people are curious, given that you are famous as a fashionista; you wore a bold outfit when attending fashion week."
Previously, Moon Ga-young showcased a bold fashion choice while serving as the ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana last year. Notably, at the fashion week held in Milan, Moon Ga-young presented a daring lingerie look made entirely of sheer material and created a buzz by challenging 'underboob' fashion through that lingerie look.
In this regard, Moon Ga-young explained, "Since the clothes were part of the collection and I really like challenges, I think there was a desire to throw in something unexpected whenever others think, 'Moon Ga-young is quiet and well-behaved.'"
Meanwhile, Moon Ga-young debuted in the 2006 film 'The Grace of My Teacher' and gained recognition by appearing in dramas such as 'Family of the Wang's' and 'Hwashin.' She subsequently affirmed her presence in shows like 'The Great Seducer,' 'Welcome to Waikiki 2,' 'The Man's Memory,' 'True Beauty,' 'Understanding of Love,' and 'That Guy's Black Dragon.'
Moon Ga-young has chosen tvN's 'Seocho-dong' as her next project and is currently in the midst of filming. 'Seocho-dong' stars Lee Jong-suk, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Im Seong-jae and will be aired in the second half of this year.
