Rapper Yang Hong-won confirmed the purchase of a luxury imported car, a Porsche.
Yang Hong-won released some photos of the car contract and a video taken inside the vehicle on social media on the 7th. The part of the contract where he wrote 'rapper' in the profession section catches the eye.
Yang Hong-won mentioned his income and the background of his car purchase while he was on the YouTube channel 'Namgoongjaebul' in January.
Regarding the types of cars he has owned, he said, "When I was 19, I first bought a Grandeur for my father. Then I got a Palisade and received the Grandeur. This time, I purchased a used Porsche Panamera GTS. It had 10,000 kilometers on it. And I have quit drinking."
He explained the reason for changing his car, saying, "A car is in some ways a second studio. The audio is important. But I can't continue drinking with my car. I drink while looking at alcohol in the studio. There is nothing but alcohol. I told my dad about it, and that's why I changed my car. When I drank and called a chauffeur, everything I consumed was revealed to my father. It was a matter of pride, so I stopped drinking. Also, I enjoy listening to songs I worked on while driving."
Yang Hong-won surprised everyone by stating that regarding his income, when asked by the host, "About two million won a month?" he responded, "I get around 8 to 9 million won a month." He also revealed, "I'm consistently at five million won," which sparked discussion online.
Meanwhile, Yang Hong-won had a daughter with his girlfriend, a model, whom he had been dating for a long time, last November. Yang Hong-won announced the birth on social media on Nov. 28, stating, "My fans, Hyeon-joo made it!!! My daughter Yang Ru-a. Congratulations!"
In the photos released, Yang Hong-won catches the eye with his unique hairstyle and hip fashion. Wearing a mask, Yang Hong-won appeared emotional while holding his child. It seems the daughter's name is 'Yang Ru-a,' and he is looking at her beside a yellow rabbit plush toy. Yang Hong-won gained fame through Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 4' in 2015. He won the first season of Mnet's 'High School Rapper' in 2017. He released a new album titled 'SLOWMO' in May last year.
