Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo apologized for making inappropriate remarks during a live broadcast with singer BoA while under the influence.
On the 10th, Jun Hyun-moo posted on social media, saying, “Our official apology regarding last Saturday’s live broadcast has been delayed,” and added, “I sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable because of this matter.”
Jun Hyun-moo and BoA were criticized for making rude comments about Park Na-rae, who was not present during the broadcast held on the 5th.
During the broadcast, when a viewer asked Jun Hyun-moo about rumors of a relationship with Park Na-rae, BoA replied, "I don’t think they will date. Oppa (Jun Hyun-moo) is a pity," and Jun Hyun-moo responded, "Is that okay? We're currently live (broadcasting)?" which led to further comments.
Jun Hyun-moo said, "I conveyed my apologies to Na-rae immediately after the broadcast for mentioning her unnecessarily right after the live show," adding, "I want to express my apologies and gratitude once again to Na-rae, who generously understood despite the unpleasant situation."
He continued, "Mentioning someone who is not present during a broadcast, as well as carelessly conducting a live show while under the influence, were clearly wrong actions," and added, "I will reflect on this."
