Singer Kwon Jin-ah releases a music video teaser for her pre-released song, reminiscent of a melodrama, heightening anticipation for her new album.
Her agency Another will reveal the music video teaser for Kwon Jin-ah's third full-length album, 'The Dreamest,' and its pre-released track, 'Love & Hate,' through official social media at 6 p.m. on the 9th.
'Love & Hate' is a track from Kwon Jin-ah's third full-length album, which will be officially released at 6 p.m. on the 25th. Prior to that, it will be pre-released along with the music video at 6 p.m. on the 10th. The song is a poignant pop ballad that expresses ambivalent emotions intertwined in a passionate and intense love through Kwon Jin-ah's distinctive and powerful vocals.
The music video features singer and actor Kim Do-yeon and model Hong Tae-jun, who passionately portray lovers that love each other deeply yet hate each other. Director Lee In-ho of 'New Video' takes charge of the direction, maximizing the song's emotional impact with stylish mise-en-scène and striking scenes such as a dramatic kiss in the rain.
Kim Do-yeon has steadily expanded her presence as an actress through various works in drama, film, and theater since her activities with groups I.O.I and Weki Meki. Hong Tae-jun continues to gain attention by being recognized as one of the young leaders under 30 in the 'Art and Style' sector by Forbes Korea.
According to insiders from the agency, the two created high-quality scenes with their natural chemistry and immersive acting, which deeply moved the staff on set.
Kwon Jin-ah's new album, 'The Dreamest,' is her first full-length album in about six years since the release of her second album, 'My Shape,' in 2019. The album title, meaning the highest degree of 'dream,' reflects the artist's musical ambition to keep striving toward the best dream without tiring. It includes a total of 10 songs, featuring double title tracks 'Reunion' and 'Let Me Go,' with Kwon Jin-ah participating as a producer in writing, composing, and arranging, adding meticulous completeness to the entire album.
To celebrate the release of her third full-length album, Kwon Jin-ah will hold a solo concert at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul at 6 p.m. on May 10 and at 5 p.m. on May 11. General ticket sales will start at 8 p.m. on April 9 via the online ticket reservation site Interpark Ticket, and as each show has recorded sold-out performances, a strong reception is anticipated this time as well.
