Kim Ji-yeon stated that she could readily lend 100 million won to her longtime friend Yook Sung-jae.
On the afternoon of the 9th, on the YouTube channel "Naraesik," Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon, who have been friends for 16 years and star in the new SBS drama "Haunted Palace," appeared.
Previously, the two met for the first time at the JYP public audition and formed a connection, after which Yook Sung-jae debuted as part of the Cube Entertainment group BtoB, while Kim Ji-yeon debuted as Bona from Starship Entertainment's Cosmic Girls.
Park Na-rae asked, "Have you ever had experiences of running to each other during tough times?" to which Kim Ji-yeon retorted while looking at Yook Sung-jae, "Haven't I never called out for you when it was difficult?" Yook Sung-jae responded, "That's true, and I say this, but I have a strong sense of loyalty. I'm confident that if anything happens to Ji-yeon, I can go right away," he asserted. Kim Ji-yeon also stated, "I think so too."
When asked, "What if you suddenly received a call asking to lend 100 million won?" Kim Ji-yeon laughed and immediately replied, "I could lend it. But only if I received the call."
Yook Sung-jae commented, "It feels a bit like that. It feels shallow but lasting," and Kim Ji-yeon added, "Isn't it a matter of loyalty that we've known each other for 16 years?" She continued, "Both of us worked hard to balance being a singer and an actor. That has been greatly influenced by Sung-jae. He often tells me, 'I hope you don't lose your singing career. I hope you release a solo album.' Since he is pursuing his own dreams, he encourages me as well," she expressed her gratitude.
