'Naraesik' Park Na-rae shed tears over Kim Ji-yeon's confession.
On the afternoon of the 9th, SBS's new drama 'Haunted Palace' featured lead actors Yoo Seung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon, who have been friends for 16 years.
Earlier, the two met for the first time at a JYP open audition and built a connection; afterward, Yoo Seung-jae debuted in the idol group BTOB under CUBE, while Kim Ji-yeon debuted as Bona from WJSN under Starship.
Kim Ji-yeon said, 'I suddenly have something I want to talk about.' She noted, 'When I was a rookie, I often appeared on variety shows for promotional purposes, usually arranged by the agency. However, after the drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' did well, I received many variety show invitations and appeared.'
She continued, 'At that time, not many people remembered meeting me when I was a rookie. But senior Park Na-rae remembered.' She added, 'There was no one else but her. She has always been kind to me. Even when we (WJSN) were unknown, she treated me well.'
Listening quietly, Park Na-rae's eyes welled up with tears, and eventually, she cried. Kim Ji-yeon then asked, 'You're not crying, are you? I might cry too. Why are you crying?'
Yoo Seung-jae said, 'The people who treated me well from the beginning as a rookie remain in my memory. After doing well, I want to repay them more.' Kim Ji-yeon added, 'I really wanted to say thank you.' Yoo Seung-jae responded, 'Right. Such things must be said.'
