(Continued from interview ①) Actor Park Hae-soo expressed his affection for his wife.

On the 9th, an interview with Park Hae-soo, an actor in the Netflix series "Karma," was conducted at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul.

On this day, Park Hae-soo said, "Do you think of yourself as the husband from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines'?" to which he replied, "I do. Of course, whether my family agrees is another matter; I will hold a press conference with my son separately. We will have a triangle face-off." Soon after, Park Hae-soo corrected himself, saying, "Rather than that, I will just be kind and affectionate."

He also mentioned his wife's reaction to him pursuing acting, saying, "When she sees me in the media, she says, 'Oh, he's an actor.' She finds it very interesting while watching 'Karma,' as she knows me so well. She is curious about how I created those characters."

He continued, "Also, my wife is an intuitive person. Instead of expressing things logically, she describes them as, 'it feels like a certain bird' or 'it feels like a certain color.' She respects the fact that I’m an actor, and she also has artistic traits. She seems to enjoy seeing that different side of me."

In particular, he stated, "I sometimes act even at home. I have a character who doesn’t ponder but pretends to ponder. An actor often says that practice is a part of everyday life. In reality, I’m just spacing out. So please, when it comes to laundry…" He trailed off, eliciting laughter.

He added, "But I’m grateful that she acknowledges and respects that. I often draw inspiration from my wife. I make a lot of effort to rationalize my characters, and when I give her the script, there are times when she can view it clearly from a third-person perspective. Then the answer comes out. In fact, my wife is my critic. This is why similar people attract each other," he joked.

Park Hae-soo remarked, "In fact, it can’t be easy for the spouses of actors. Even if they don’t express it, that energy naturally emanates from them. How could one just cut off (emotions) upon entering the house? Even when they return home, there’s bound to be a sensitivity that leaks out. I’m just thankful that she comforts me about that."
