The group Cosmic Girls (WJSN) member Dayoung challenged the latest fashion trends through her content 'Hot Girl Dayoung.'
On the 8th, the YouTube channel 'DAYOUNG IM' released a video titled 'Is it true that personal color and fortune-telling are messed up because of ChatGPT?'
Dayoung explained that it is currently a trend among many friends to inquire about personal color and fortune-telling using ChatGPT and introduced content comparing ChatGPT with experts.
Dayoung visited the Korea Fashion Psychology Research Institute, where she began a thorough personal color diagnosis with an expert. First, she learned about the wavelength values of light reflected on her skin using a machine that outputs light, checked her skin tone using a color chart, and finally diagnosed her personal color with draping fabric.
It was confirmed that Dayoung's skin brightened when a bright-toned fabric was held up to her face, while darker colors added dullness, showing a clear difference. Recommended to opt for subtle colors rather than high saturation, Dayoung compared her hair color and discovered the reason why her usual black hair doesn’t suit her, ultimately receiving the diagnosis of summer cool tone light.
Next, the personal color test through ChatGPT was conducted. Dayoung took photos with a selfie camera to extract colors from different parts of her face and fed them into ChatGPT. However, contrary to the expert’s opinion, she was diagnosed with a warm-tone autumn deep, leaving Dayoung surprised and concluding that it is difficult to obtain accurate results with ChatGPT.
Next, Dayoung met with an astrologer to analyze her fortune. The astrologer commented on Dayoung's desire to become president of the 'Momo Republic,' the world of 'Hot Girl Dayoung,' by saying, "If this fortune becomes president, the people will be confused," adding, "The fortune is not weak; you must have been quite a character from a young age." When Dayoung asked the same question to ChatGPT, it replied that "there may have been a lot of conflicts with parents when you were young, but your relationship may have improved as you grew up," giving the same answer as the astrologer and astonished Dayoung.
She also checked her fortune for 2025. When the astrologer said, "From the end of 2027 to 2028, you will have a great fortune, especially with good responses from the West," Dayoung reacted with excitement, and when she was told that good things would happen in the Year of the Monkey, she jokingly suggested, "Let’s put monkey decorations in the car," causing laughter at the scene. However, ChatGPT predicted her great fortune would come in the Year of the Ox, providing a different answer than the astrologer, leaving Dayoung bewildered.
Afterward, Dayoung asked the expert and ChatGPT various questions about marriage and later fortune, but the two answers continued to vary. She concluded that the opinions of experts and ChatGPT could differ. Finally, Dayoung asked the astrologer whether 'Hot Girl Dayoung' would do well, and after receiving the answer that the program would provide a good opportunity for her, she expressed her satisfaction and wrapped up.
