British broadcaster Eva Popiel has passed the naturalization exam in South Korea.
On the 9th, Eva Popiel posted a photo on her social media account story with the message, "Thank you for your support."
The photo included a message she received from the Korea Immigration Service, which contained the results of her naturalization interview. The result was a pass. Eva Popiel expressed her gratitude by including a performance of the "National Anthem" sung by the Yoon Do-hyun Band.
Eva Popiel previously revealed that she submitted her documents to acquire South Korean nationality in February. She said, "After moving to Korea in 2005, I decided to challenge myself and make this commitment after 20 years. The interview exam has two opportunities, but there is so much to study, it's overwhelming."
Having received much support, Eva Popiel has successfully obtained South Korean nationality by passing the naturalization interview. As Eva Popiel has shown her affection for Korea through appearances on shows such as "The Gossip Girls" and "Women Who Kick Balls," this achievement is even more meaningful.
Meanwhile, Eva Popiel was born to a British father and a Japanese mother. She married a South Korean man who is one year younger in 2010 and has two sons.
