Kim Kang-woo revealed his love story with his wife Han Mu-young.
During the broadcast of Channel A's "Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Dining Table" on the 7th, actor Kim Kang-woo, invited as a close friend of chef Lee Yeon-bok, shared a love story with his wife, actress Han Hye-jin's sister, Han Mu-young.
Kim Kang-woo reminisced about his first meeting with his wife. Kim Kang-woo said, "While drinking with friends, there were some women at the next table celebrating a birthday. I saw a woman who was very beautiful. I asked a friend if she wasn't too pretty, and then he called her over. It turned out she was his neighborhood friend."
Kim Kang-woo shared, "She was a friend who went to a school close to my neighborhood. I was 25 at the time. I fell in love and we dated for 8 years, got married at 32, and now we've been living together for 15 years," bringing laughter to those around him.
Kim Kang-woo noted, "I met her while I was auditioning after my debut. I thought I wanted to marry her when I shot the movie 'Coastline' in 2002, and she gave me the 'Coastline' DVD as a Christmas gift. I was so touched. I thought, 'She really cares about me.' Even though I had a small role since it was my first film, she gave it to me. I still have it."
Kim Kang-woo drew attention by saying that his wife has been with him from his days as an unknown actor to becoming a top star. Kim Kang-woo stated, "In a way, she is like a comrade."
Heo Kyeong-hwan asked, "Isn't it possible to have different feelings when things get hot while dating?" In response, Kim Kang-woo said, "I receive that question a lot. I thought about what is more important in my life. My wife is the eldest daughter of three daughters, and isn't the marriageable age approaching? I wondered why I would want to hurt her to pursue wealth and fame. I thought simply."
Kim Kang-woo talked about his sister-in-law Han Hye-jin. He mentioned, "While she's been on entertainment programs, we've never worked together on a project."
Kim Kang-woo stated, "Since we see each other every holiday and live in the same neighborhood, we raise the kids together. When I am not home, my sister-in-law and mother-in-law come over. After work, when I go home, they seem to disappear quietly." Jang Ye-won added, "It's to let him relax at home."
Kim Kang-woo commented, "Gwang-yeong Ki is my youngest brother-in-law, so he treats me comfortably, but I think he might find me a bit intimidating." He added, "At home, I can be somewhat scary. The first child seems to resemble me, while the second one looks like my wife. It seems like they are a mix of both."
Kim Kang-woo mentioned, "My kids eat five meals a day. When my wife says, 'You should stop eating now,' I say we will only have three meals today. My wife spends all day in the kitchen. After a performance, I help out a bit." He further stated, "When a man cooks, the home becomes harmonious."
