Comedian Park Seong-kwang's wife, Lee Sol, recalled a sad past when her appointment with a friend fell through.
On the 8th, Lee Sol posted on her social media account, "Do you know the sad legend that two women who don't enjoy hotels planned to have afternoon tea, saying 'let's meet at the Chosun Hotel at 1 p.m.' only to have one go to Chosun Palace and the other to Westin Chosun, and thus couldn't have afternoon tea?" along with a photo.
Lee Sol added, "Yesterday, I checked again and went straight to Chosun Palace. The bakery is very expensive. The hotel has a unique elegant interior."
The photo captured Lee Sol enjoying a meal at the hotel. After missing her friend in the earlier appointment due to miscommunication about the location, Lee Sol successfully met this time, taking that past experience as a lesson. Although hotel bakeries are quite expensive, it seems she enjoyed a leisurely afternoon and savored her happiness.
Lee Sol expressed the torment she experienced from malicious comments following her recent appearances on SBS' 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny,' revealing her struggles with the hurtful remarks that were not based on facts.
He noted that he is currently battling women's cancer, saying, "After resigning, I naturally started preparing for a child, and after five months, I was diagnosed with cancer. Due to the nature of women's cancer, I became unable to have children, and I felt so sorry to my parents and in-laws for not being able to take care of my health. The nature of the cancer was not good, so I faced great despair in a situation where I couldn't even know if I could live for another year or three years."
Lee Sol said, "I underwent surgery and cytotoxic chemotherapy for six months, had to be careful when going out, couldn't eat food, vomited every day, lost weight, my skin deteriorated, and my hair fell out... I endured really tough times going back and forth to the emergency room. Even now, I am on medication and in treatment, so I couldn't have a child, and that situation continues to this day," explaining that she still has time before full recovery and is still undergoing cancer treatment.
In particular, Lee Sol shared, "I was very hurt to be portrayed only as 'a luxurious woman,' 'a woman who doesn't have children,' and 'a woman who uses her husband like an ATM' amid provocative articles and distorted views," revealing her reason for disclosing her battle with cancer.
Fortunately, Lee Sol is not living a limited life and has publicly shared her experience during her battle with cancer, appearing composed and receiving much support.
Meanwhile, Park Seong-kwang and Lee Sol got married on Aug. 15, 2020.
