Actress Kim Min-hee has given birth to the son of director Hong Sang-soo.
According to the film industry on the 8th, Kim Min-hee recently gave birth to her first son with director Hong Sang-soo and is currently staying at a postpartum care center in Hanam.
Kim Min-hee previously drew attention when it was revealed in January that she was pregnant. In February, she was spotted at Incheon International Airport with director Hong Sang-soo while still pregnant.
Director Hong Sang-soo was invited to compete in the institutional sector at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival with the film "What Does the Nature Say to You?" and reportedly expressed affection for Kim Min-hee during a press conference.
Kim Min-hee and director Hong Sang-soo became connected through the film "Right Now, Wrong Then" in 2015 and have since maintained an affair for nearly 10 years. Director Hong Sang-soo filed for divorce from his wife in 2016, but it was unsuccessful, and he lost the divorce lawsuit in 2019.
