The actors leading 'Catch Your Luck' have finished preparations to meet the viewers.
With the first broadcast approaching on the 14th, KBS 1TV's new daily drama 'Catch Your Luck' (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo) portrays the heartwarming growth story of three friends who have money, those who do not, and those who wish to have money, along with their families.
'Catch Your Luck,' which will continue the successful lineage of KBS 1TV's daily dramas, features veteran middle-aged actors such as Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, Park Sang-myun, Lee Ah-hyun, Oh Young-sil, and An Yeon-hong. With the presence of these highly trusted actors and the uniquely armed MZ actors such as Yeon Je-hyung, Lee So-won, Kim Hyun-ji, Park Ji-sang, Kim Min-seok, and Gong Ye-ji, the drama aims to resonate well with viewers across generations with its relatable story. Ahead of the first broadcast, the actors leading 'Catch Your Luck' revealed key representative keywords for prospective viewers.
◆ 'The Rascals' Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, Park Sang-myun, friendship and twists.
Han Mu-cheol (Son Chang-min), Kim Dae-sik (Sun Woo-jae-deok), and Choi Gyu-tae (Park Sang-myun) appear as 'The Rascals' in the drama, demonstrating grand loyalty and camaraderie. However, 40 years later, they find themselves in a relationship where they trample on a friend's pride for a penny and become landlord and tenant, bowing down to a friend over money. The evolving relationships of the trio are expected to elicit delightful laughter and bittersweet empathy from viewers.
Son Chang-min introduced the representative keyword for 'Catch Your Luck' as 'Han Mu-cheol, who experiences twist after twist.' He added, 'Expect the success story of Mu-cheol, who started from the past of 'The Rascals' and became the owner of Daewoon Building, along with the shocking events that entangle him, and the transformation of his character.'
Sun Woo-jae-deok defined 'Catch Your Luck' as 'a drama that families can enjoy together.' He stated, 'The story includes the ups and downs parents experience throughout their lives, as well as the tales of MZ children that parents cannot understand. While middle-aged actors solidly hold the core of 'Catch Your Luck,' Yeon Je-hyung, Lee So-won, Kim Hyun-ji, Park Ji-sang, Kim Min-seok, and Gong Ye-ji support the drama's overall quality. The children of Mu-cheol and Mi-ja, Han Tae-ha (played by Park Ji-sang) and Han Seo-woo (played by Lee So-won), will develop overlapping romantic lines with Kim Seok-jin (played by Yeon Je-hyung) and Kim Ah-jin (played by Kim Hyun-ji), who are the second sons of Dae-sik and Hae-sook. After losing a large sum of money from a failed investment, Tae-ha gets a job at the restaurant 'Buddumak,' where Ah-jin works, showcasing their clumsy chemistry.
Ahead of the first broadcast, Park Ji-sang and Kim Hyun-ji collectively described the representative keyword for 'Catch Your Luck' as 'growth narrative and antagonistic chemistry.'
