Comedian Jang Dong-min has launched a patent technology for removing labels from PET bottles, marking a new challenge as an entrepreneur.
On the 7th, an agreement for the development and production of eco-friendly labels was signed among Pureunhaneul, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, and Samyang Packaging. Jang attended as a representative of Pureunhaneul, promoting collaboration for sustainable growth.
Through this agreement, Jang noted, 'The vertical one-touch label separation technology is an innovative alternative that can contribute to solving global environmental issues,' and 'I will do my best in product development so that consumers can easily remove labels and participate in environmental protection.'
The agreement, which Jang attended, is based on the patented technology developed by Pureunhaneul titled 'One-Touch Removal Packaging for Containers and Packaging Containing This.' The technology developed by Jang features a method that changes the horizontal label of a conventional PET bottle to a vertical label, allowing for the label to be separated when the bottle cap is turned, thereby improving recycling efficiency.
Having transformed into an entrepreneur, Jang previously won an excellence award at the 'Environmental Startup Competition' hosted by the Ministry of Environment in 2023 for his patent technology for removing labels from PET bottles.
Jang Dong-min, known for his active performances in 'Crime Scene Returns' on TVING and 'Blood Game 3' on Wavve, is garnering much anticipation for the new challenges he will showcase as a representative of eco-friendly corporations.
