In 'Jjanhanhyeong', Yoo Hae-jin shared the behind-the-scenes story of the Seoul Institute of the Arts entrance exam.
The video titled 'EP. 87 Jjinju-dang's irresistible temptation and the broken return button' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanhyeong' on the 7th.
On that day, Yoo Hae-jin appeared as a junior of Shin Dong-yeop at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and revealed his friendship, saying, "We occasionally met and kept in touch at awards ceremonies, then ran into each other at an izakaya in Seorae Village."
Regarding the entrance exam stories, Yoo Hae-jin said, "I failed the theater and film major twice; at that time, it focused on character. If I were to go to the theater and film department, I wouldn't believe it. I was supposed to go to the military, but my father told me to explore other options, so I went to the military and then got into the Seoul Institute of the Arts." He noted, "If I hadn't gotten in, I wouldn't be where I am today."
Yoo Hae-jin, who has been involved in the Cheongju Youth Theater since childhood, reflected, "This year marks the 40th anniversary; I have been there for almost 38 years. A senior talked about the 40th-anniversary production, which is why I hadn't done theater. I had only worked in film and was scared of the stage. I thought I would do it someday. It was a happy time because I wasn't uncomfortable, being with my hometown seniors and juniors."
