IU has become a 10 million subscriber YouTuber.
As of the afternoon of the 6th, IU's official YouTube channel 'Lee Ji Geum [IU Official]' has achieved 10 million subscribers.
To commemorate this, a short video titled "10 million YouTuber Lee Ji Geum" was posted on the channel that day.
The released video captures IU looking forward to the moment of reaching 10 million subscribers in real-time while traveling in a car. Witnessing the moment of reaching 10 million subscribers, IU couldn't hide her joy, saying, "10 million subscribers, achieved!"
IU also noted, "I have become a YouTuber with subscribers exceeding 10 million and a diamond button." She added, "I will work hard to create more entertaining content as a 10 million YouTuber. I would like to thank the 10 million subscribers who supported me once again."
Meanwhile, IU has received a lot of love from viewers through the recent Netflix original series "When Life Gives You Tangerines."
In the series, IU plays dual roles, portraying Aesoon from her teenage years through her twenties to her marriage with Gwon-sik and becoming a parent, as well as her middle-aged version, Aesoon, and her daughter, Geummyung. Most notably, in the first act, the adorable chemistry between IU and Park Bo-gum exploded, exciting global viewers.
