The audience participation comedy segment 'Chatflix' from 'Gag Concert' is making a comeback.
On the broadcast of KBS2's 'Gag Concert' episode 1116, airing on April 6, the segment 'Chatflix', which aired from February to November last year, returns for a special April Fools' Day episode.
'Chatflix' is an interactive comedy segment conducted with lines written by the audience participating in an open chat room, and it received great love as the unpredictable messages from the audience and the comedians' improvisation created synergy in each episode.
In this broadcast, original members Song Jun-geun, Jung Beom-kyun, and Na Hyun-young will reinterpret the popular Netflix series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' in a unique way that only 'Chatflix' can offer. There is anticipation for what interesting situations will be created through real-time chatting with the audience.
As a special guest, comedian Lee Sang-hoon will appear. Lee Sang-hoon, who debuted as a comedian in the 26th recruit of KBS in 2011, has been active in shows like 'Thank You', 'King of Ratings', 'Niggle Niggle', and '1 vs 1', and has been a key figure in leading 'Gag Concert' during the early to mid-2010s. He is also currently active as a figure YouTuber with about 600,000 subscribers.
With Lee Sang-hoon returning to the stage of 'Gag Concert' after a long time, it will be a focal point of the broadcast to see how quickly he adapts to 'Chatflix'. There is great interest in how he will handle the spicy audience chats and showcase his comedic instincts.
