After two years of marriage, T-ara's Jiyeon and baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun are drawing attention by posting meaningful messages together.
Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun married in December 2022. The two announced their relationship and marriage simultaneously without any previous dating rumors. Lyrics such as "You did the homework I couldn't do," "I cried as much as the cigarettes you smoked," "Don't say my words were a wound," and "I gave you the reason" resonated more meaningfully with Jiyeon's feelings and circumstances after the divorce.
Hwang Jae-gyun's posts have also drawn attention alongside Jiyeon's. After resurrecting his previously inactive social media account, he uploaded a screenshot of the lyrics to "The Phoenix" by the band Fall Out Boy, which included phrases like "Prepare for war." While it seemed to reflect his mindset as he prepares for the season, it attracted attention as his first post after the divorce.
With the current season underway, Hwang Jae-gyun posted a photo on the 5th without any substantial text. The photo included the phrase, "You must pass the test, overcome trials, and reject temptations," which held significant meaning.
Five months have passed since the divorce. Although Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun may not have intended this, the meaningfulness continues amidst the backdrop of the significant event of divorce.
