Broadcaster Hong Jin Kyung broke a sweat over fraud allegations.
The MBC 'Good Day' aired on the 6th and continued with the Good Day assembly segment following the last broadcast.
On this day’s broadcast, Hong Jin Kyung's cherished guasha massager was featured. He explained, "When you apply this, it opens the blood vessels. There is a difference in coolness compared to regular guasha."
Upon hearing this, the cast members coveted the massager, and the bidding price gradually increased. After fierce competition, Anh Sung-jae, the chef, won the massage device for 670,000 won.
However, Kim Goeun, while searching for the product, asked, "Isn't it 25,000 won?" Upon hearing this, Hong Jin Kyung retorted, "What do you mean it's 55,000 won? I bought it for 50!"
In response, Lee Soo Hyuk, who was also searching, raised suspicions by saying, "No matter what I find, it's about 34,000 won," and Anh Sung-jae expressed feelings of betrayal, asking, "Were you scammed?"
To this, Hong Jin Kyung said, "Wait a minute. If you search, it should come up. I'll show you," exhibiting his feeling of grievance and conducted a search on the spot to verify the authenticity.
Jeong Hyung Don advised, "This is not an interrogation room," and Hong Jin Kyung clarified, "Look, I bought two, and they cost 1,080,000 won altogether."
In the end, the misunderstanding was resolved, and Kim Goeun expressed her regret by saying, "I want to buy it." Hong Jin Kyung joked, "Oh, you want to buy it? I thought you were investigating me... I misunderstood," which elicited laughter.
